1 Who we are

Oatmore is a brand of Byoneer B.V., registered in the Netherlands at Westerstraat 10, Unit D1197, 3016 DH Rotterdam, Netherlands. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

For anything in this policy, including any request about your data, email us at hello@byoneer.nl.

2 What this site is

This is a pre-launch site. You can read about Oatmore, join the waitlist for an upcoming offer, and contact us. There is no shop, no account, and no basket on this site, and we never take a payment here. Joining the waitlist does not create an order.

3 What we collect

Details you give us. When you complete the waitlist form we receive what you enter into it, which is your name and email address, plus a phone number if you choose to give one, and the country edition of the site you joined from. If you use our contact form, we also receive the subject and message you send us.

Technical and campaign data. When you browse the site we collect the pages you view, the site or advert that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. If you arrived from an advert, we also collect the campaign parameters in the link.

We do not ask for, and do not want, any special category data such as health information.

4 Cookies and similar technologies

We use a first-party attribution cookie, which lasts up to 90 days, to store advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters from the link you arrived on, so that if you later join the waitlist we can tell which advert or campaign brought you here. Individual identifiers are discarded sooner where the advertising platform expects a shorter window.

The advertising and analytics providers listed below may also set their own cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser.

We are introducing a cookie banner that will let you accept or refuse non-essential cookies before they are set. Until it is live, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use the opt-out controls each advertising platform offers in your own account settings with them.

5 Who we share data with

We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf or alongside us:

  • Fillout — hosts the waitlist form and receives what you submit through it.
  • OpenPanel — website analytics, so we can see which pages are read and which are ignored.
  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) — advertising, measurement of which adverts lead to waitlist sign-ups, and WhatsApp as a messaging channel.
  • Google Ads, AppLovin and Snapchat — advertising and measurement. These are being added shortly, and this policy already covers them so it is not silent on the day they go live.
  • Nuntly — sends our emails.
  • GatewayAPI — sends our SMS messages.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, or may transfer data there. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.

6 Why we are allowed to use it

We rely on your consent for marketing messages and for non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

We rely on our legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and for understanding, in aggregate, which campaigns and pages work.

Where you join the waitlist for an offer, we also use your details to take steps you have asked for before any contract exists, namely contacting you about that launch.

7 How you hear from us

If you join the waitlist, we may contact you about the launch by email, by SMS, or on WhatsApp, using the details you gave us. Every message includes a way to stop receiving them, and you can also just reply and ask, or email hello@byoneer.nl.

8 How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details for as long as we need them to prepare the launch and to contact you about it, and for a short period afterwards for our own records. After that we delete them or strip them of anything that identifies you. Analytics and campaign measurement data is kept in aggregate, and our first-party attribution cookie expires on its own within 90 days.

9 Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we are using it, ask us to restrict it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given. Just email hello@byoneer.nl and we will handle it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in the country where you live.

10 Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what we do changes, including when the advertising platforms above go live or the cookie banner ships. The date at the top always shows the current version.
